We are going to learn about another aspect of food politics--the program WWOOF. And, next week Madeline Fletcher is coming to speak to our classes about her experience with this program.

Justice: Childhood Love Lessons Mini-Research Assignment

This mini-assignment is real, and it's due by Thursday, February 11.

Over the course next few days you will be conducting a mini-research assignment related to issue addressed in bell hooks’ “Justice: Childhood Love Lessons.” Your mini-research assignment will be relatively short but will require your close and careful attention. The research you gather will be used to help answer the proposed research question you have selected. While the research process is what is the focus here, the end product will be a draft summary of your research and a 150-word abstract. So, you will not be writing a research paper on this topic.

This assignment is due Thursday, February 11th.
